Overjet
Client Name and Description: Overjet is an AI-powered dental technology company that provides
algorithms to analyze dental images and deliver diagnoses. Overjet’s headquarters are located in
Boston. They have completed their Series C funding round, raising over $130 million (USD).
Background: In the Winter of 2023, Overjet had lost its single Finance FTE, and the company’s COO
was eager to find a partner who could solve a host of financial needs. By April 2023, FIAB was engaged
to support FP&A, month-end closing, and more. As we have come to understand the needs of Overjet,
we recognized an opportunity for them to save costs on mechanical tasks in the Customer Support
team. Our full-time recruitment team has identified several candidates who are domiciled outside of
India to support this function. The Overjet team has interviewed these candidates and made
one full-time “hire.” This candidate is hired as an employee of FIAB and is a full-time dedicated
consultant to Overjet.
Takeaways: FIAB has demonstrated an ability to creatively find solutions to our clients’ needs through
offshore enablement.
